Exercies is supposed to hurt...that's when it's working. I know it's hard to workout when you are sore but that is when you burn the most calories and tone your body best...when you are sore. Hint: best to work out your abs when they're sore.
Ways to avoid the pain---not working out is not an option.
1. Take a shower after working out, alternating 30 seconds hot, 30 seconds cold water.
2. Get plenty of potassium (think bananas and yogurt).
3. Warm up and cool down before and after each workout.
4. Go swimming the day after a tought workout.
5. Drink LOTS of water.
6. Soak in the tub with two teaspoons each of baking powder adn Epsom salts.
