1. Stand when talking on the phone or take a short walk if you know you will be talking for a while.
2. Shop for two hours (It actually says this in my fitness magazine!)
3. Ride your bike (or walk) to do errands (i.e. post office, library)...take a backpack if needed.
4. Have more sex.
5. Plant flowers/gardening.
6. Join a recreational sports team - soccer, baseball, karate, etc.
7. Take five 10 minute "stroll breaks" through the day. Just walk down the block and back or arond the office/campus for a few minutes.
8. Do three sets of 25 push-ups, lunges, and crunches before you get ready in the morning.
9. Take the stairs. Everywhere! (If you have bad knees then work up to this..take them occasionally.)
